Hyderabad and  Secunderabad will be renamed if the BJP is voted to power in Telangana MLA Raja Singh said on Thursday. 

Hyderabad would be rechristened as Bhagyanagar.

MLA Raja Singh come after Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani said that they were thinking of renaming Ahmedabad as Karnavati.

If  BJP wins maximum seats in the December 7 Elections commission he said Raja Singh also said the names of Secunderabad and Karimnagar would also be changed.

CM Rupani  said that they will look at all possible 
"legal and other angles" Before this announcement 

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath also made a similar claim.Yogi promised the people of Uttar Pradesh that the city of Faizabad will be renamed to Ayodhya.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis when would the state government rename Aurangabad and Osmanabad. 

UP CM also changed the name of Allahabad to Prayagraj claiming that this change was of great significance to INDIA .
