Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company’s latest budget Android smartphone will continue to be available at a starting price of INR 13,990 on Flipkart.

While the company was contemplating hiking prices of the Realme 2 Pro it appears Realme has decided not to go ahead with the hike as it might have had a negative impact on the smartphone’s popularity among consumers in India.

The budget Android smartphone segment in India is currently the most affordable Android smartphone running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 AIE octa-core processor.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro (review) which happens to be the most popular Android smartphone its starts at INR 14,999/- Rs for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Similarly the Realme 2 Pro 6GB RAM variant is currently priced INR 1,000 lower than the Redmi Note 5 Pro 6GB RAM variant
in online sites like Flipkart and Amazon india.
