Official vehicle booked for wrong parking.

In a first for the city police, the official vehicle of the chief of Hyderabad Traffic Police was fined for wrong parking in a carriageway.

This reporter had clicked a picture of the white SUV parked beside a ‘No Parking sign near Mahankali Traffic police station and Tweeted .

“@HYDTP will you issue a “No Parking”e-challan to this vehicle? Place: Near Mahankali Traffic PS. Time: 3 p.m. on 15 November, 2018.”

Responding to it in a few hours the Hyderabad Traffic Police tweeted that the vehicle was fined for violating a No Parking norm

even though the official vehicle allotted to Additional Commissioner  of Police (Traffic) Anil Kumar. 

A violation ticket of wrong/unauthorised parking of  Rs. 235/- which included service fee was issued on the vehicle.
