GHMC is known for it's innovative ideologies in making the city more comfortable to cope whether be it Rs 5/- Rrupees meals And cleaning the streets of Hyderabad and making it one of the hygienic city.
With a leap forword it came up with a new innovative idea
"Feed the Need" to install food fridges in the city.
This is not the first city to start this idea but better late than never. This particular idea revolves around food waste in major cities around 1-ton food is wasted every day in major cities and many lack proper food supplement.
This initiative helps fill this gap.

GHMC introduces "Feed the need" public refrigerators Anyone having excess food and wishing to donate can leave food in these fridges.
Those hungry can take food freely from them.
(Applehome NGO will maintain and ensure no stale food is left)

Meanwhile, in this program, the residents of the colony have to provide space and security is provided by the people's trust

For the upcoming day's the ‘Feed The Need’ refrigerators should be seen in 10 different places like Madhapur, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Erragadda, Red Hills, Chanda Nagar, Gachibowli
Hospitals like:- Niloufer and ESI those are the places you can see the refrigerators installation in coming up days.
Well, this refrigerators purchase and installation responsibilities by the NGO . And the electricity and food inspection are taking care by the GHMC team.
