ELIGIBILITY OF THE PMJDY SCHENE

Any citizen who holds Indian citizenship is eligible for application in PMJDY.

A minor whose age is 10 years is also eligible for opening account under PMJDY but he should have a Guardian or a parent (which can manage the bank account).

If a citizen does not have a Recognition Certificate and if the bank has amended and classified it at a lower risk then it is eligible for Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.


A citizen holding an identification card authorized by a citizen gazetted officer is eligible for Jan Dhan Yojana.

Any citizen who already has a bank account, he is also eligible for PMJDY and he can transfer his account to PMJDY.

How to apply the Prime Minister Janhana Yojna online?

It is very easy to apply in Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana. As we apply for bank account, we have to fill a Jan Dhan Application Form and deposit it to the bank. First go to any of your nearest bank and go there and you will have to take a Jan Dhan Application Form and fill that form.

Maybe someone can get trouble in filling the form.
